One of the museum's almost pop offerings, Jazz at LACMA is celebrating its 30th season of showcasing LA'due south finest jazz musicians. Taking place at the Smidt Welcome Plaza, Jazz at LACMA Limited Edition kicks off on August 6 and runs every Friday through October 29. The new limited-capacity format requires advance tickets - no walk-up seating. Free tickets are released online biweekly on Tuesday at 10am for two upcoming Friday performances. (Limit 4 tickets per transaction.)

Performances are 6pm to 7:30pm. All performances are seated and seating is first-come, first-served for ticket holders only. Eating and drinking at your seat is permitted.
